Being the youngest of the Fab 4, he was summoned to embark to be the member of the Fab 4 when he returned from having spent his time Majoring in Commercial Cookery in Australia. A Household name in the Malaysian political scene as well, Naim has been introduced in the business and political scenes since the beginning.
He trained under some of the famous names in Culinary Chefs in Australia and traveled the world to open his taste-buds in Food & Beverage. Naim decided to share his passion and ideas and when he met Ungku Raad, the two just transpired to call up their good friends back to set up the original Fab 4!
Knowing Manila very well, Naim then decided the group’s first project should be in Metro Manila, an upscale high end center of the entertainment hub, Resorts World! Naim is definitely the busiest person of the lot, having his ideas instilled on the design of the outlet. He is a thinker, an entrepreneur and most importantly, his focus now is to expand Naah!im Bakery to the globe.
Chef Farez Yusof
Having spent time in The Ritz-Carlton, Sunway and Hilton spanning over 19 years in Italian, Asian, Western and Banquet Kitchen all with 5 Star establishment. He is bringing his best recipes to Naah!im Bakery. He has spent time in Fukuoka and Osaka in Japan promoting Malaysian feast under the flagship of the Hilton by Tourism Malaysia to represent Malaysian culinary.
He participated in the task force for Food & Beverage Masters competition that the establishment held every 3 years throughout South East Asia. Specializing in Asian, Western, Butchery and Garde Manger he has committed himself as the fantastic 4 to build the brand.
Chef Ahmad Ferman
Majoring in Bakery and Culinary art, Ferman pursued his passion with JW Marriott in Bakery and pastries for few years. He then moved on to the Grand Hyatt Dubai and then as Artisan Baker in Queensland Australia.
He then pursued his passion to Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi and Anantara in Maldives and then moved on to Hilton in Seychelles Island before he was called up as an opening team for the famous Venetian Macao and became the Head Baker in Tous Ler Jour Malaysia.
He then was called up by the Team to embark in the “Fab 4” journey and the rest is history.
The eldest of the Fab 4, is no stranger to tourism and hospitality world in Malaysia. Having spent his time in the hospitality industry mainly Food & Beverage, he has also completed his skills in the major sectors in hotel scenes.
Spanning over more than two decades, he has been involved in Japanese, Italian, Classic French, Brazilian, Western and Asian alike. He has also been the F&B brains in Major Hotels at Malaysia with the likes of The Ritz Carlton, Prince Hotels and Residence, Parkroyal, Carcosa Seri Negara, Best Western and Shangri-La. Ungku was also responsible in setting up the standards in a few Major Hotels in Malaysia.
A prominent entrepreneurs throughout local business scenes, he then moved on to set up a development company specializing in Hotels and Resorts and consultation; he has embarked businesses in other major cities such as Melbourne to name a few.
Summoned to “give back” the culinary knowledge, Ungku has then team up and sparked the Fab 4 for Naah!im Bakery…the rest is history so to say…
HOW TO GET HERE
We are located at the ground floor of the Belmont Hotel at Resorts World Manila. From Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 you can walk by crossing over the bridge from the airport straight to Belmont Hotel. If you are travelling locally such as Cebu or Bacolod, please get your relatives some of our pastries for your pasalubong (presents).
